Thank you for bringing it each and every week. I’ve seen so many teams mail it in when faced with adversity. This season gave me a weekly opportunity to talk with my young son about effort in the face of challenges. It was so fun and I am grateful to cheer for players and coaches who have so much heart!

Thank you to all the players who stepped up after injuries and made this season a playoff season. You played your heart out! Even though you aren’t the highest paid or most well known names in the game this season would have been a lot worse without the heart and hunger you brought. Thank you to Kittle for all the highlights and personality that make him my favorite tight end ever. Thank you Eddie P. For bringing consistency to the kick game. I wasn’t worried when the field goal unit came out onto the field. Thank you to the entire team, coaching staff, stadium staff, sideline staff, media staff and any other person who makes things possible for dedicating your time and effort to the team I love!

Thanks for the memories this season. I didn’t think our record would be anywhere close to what it was once we lost Warner. But you guys proved once again what a great org you guys are by managing to put together a winning season despite all the adversity. honestly, the trick pass from jennings to christian

man. i love this team, they mean so much not just to me but my family as well. we live and breathe 49ers and i grew up hearing stories of montana, young, rice, owens, lott, craig, haley and others. i want to say i’m thankful (and faithful) for this team, putting their careers on the line every week to win our sixth super bowl is something i definitely wouldn’t have the guts to do. it’s hard for me to not be thankful for these guys even if we have a losing season or if everything goes horribly, given everything they sacrifice for this sport. it sucks our season has ended but i still remain happy to be a niners fan, i always will truly. it’s a thing of pride to say my team is amongst the most storied franchises in the entire nfl. many fans of other teams are rightfully jealous of what we have accomplished and what we accomplished now despite the super bowl drought. this team is special, and i love how all of us are a family, whether it’s the camaraderie between our players in the locker room or the camaraderie between fans in the stands or on online forums, we are all united by our love and passion for this team. so yeah, to all of our players and coaches and execs, kyle and john, robert, klay, brock, christian, george, fred, nick, jauan, deommodore, and everyone else, thank you very much. thank you for making watching this sport mean something to me beyond just entertainment, thank you for your perseverance and dedication to the team and to this sport. as a fan of the 49ers, i will always be thankful for everything Bang Bang Niner Gang, let’s go get that sixth ring next season!!!!

I have a photo of myself at 4 years old wearing my father’s Jerry Rice jersey and this season, I got a similar one of my daughter wearing my George Kittle jersey and some day maybe she’ll have one of her son or daughter wearing her’s.
